I am a Breeder of American Canadian Showline German Shepherds. I find this style within the Breed to be my preference. They are not as High Drive, High Energy and Intense as Working Lines. Am/Can Showlines are the perfect balance of Beauty and Brains. Eager to please and do anything asked of them, yet still have an off switch. Making them easy to live with as house pets. Willing to be active all day, go camping or hiking or have a relaxing day just hanging around the house being calm and quiet.

 We are located in beautiful Northern Ontario Canada, Papineau-Cameron township.

Here at Sablehill GSDs, you will find that the dogs rule. My dogs are trained in many fields, from the conformation ring, agility, obedience, herding, trick dog and just being loving family members. I love being active with my dogs and my kids as much as we can. My dogs are raised in a family environment. They are in the house under foot with myself and my two kids. They come with us on walks to the local parks and pet stores in town. They also love car rides. We also enjoy the great outdoors and go for hikes in the woods and when not in shows or trials the dogs are able to be just dogs and run and play. Are great all around dogs.

My dogs are Certified OFA Hips/Elbow. I also tested for DM and MDR1. I test with DDC Lab and doing the German Shepherd Dog Panel on my dogs. I will not breed my dogs under 2 years old and not until I have the OFA x-rays done and their Breed Panel. I currently offer Sables and Black/Tans, if the breeding works well to offer such, in either Plush coat, Long coat and Stock coat. Blacks might be in our future stay tuned.
I compete with my dogs in the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) events. We currently compete in the Conformation rings. Soon we will be competing in Agility trials. I love the Show rings and show my dogs myself. I am Proud Owner/Handler/Breeder. Once in a while I will enter more than one at which time I do need an extra hand, so from time to time friends of mine will show a dog for me. As my Children get older they too will join me in the ring with our dogs and show also. I am always willing to help my friends out too, which I enjoy. Learning to show all breeds is fun. 

 I am a proud member in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club and have been for a while now. I am also a member of The German Shepherd Dog Club of Canada.
